A global software company based in Grand Prairie is shuffling its North American home base. After 13 years in its current headquarters at 1901 North Highway 360, Point of Rental Software has acquired a 35,000-square-foot facility four miles away in Fort Worth.

The company–which writes and sells proprietary software to businesses trying to manage rental inventory (i.e. party rentals, equipment rentals, etc.)–will move into the one-story, early-2000s office building at 14401 Statler Blvd. sometime this summer. With the help of Cushman & Wakefield’s Charlie Beck and Cribb Altman, Point of Rental scoped out its new home and purchased it from Corporate Statler Ltd., which was represented b y Sam Franklin of Peak CRE.

Like many companies benefiting from a booming economy, Point of Rental has been growing rapidly, tripling its worldwide employee-base in the last three years. Locally, the business employs more than 100 people. Said CEO Wayne Harris: “We’re excited for the extra space to grow, and the location directly across from the Trinity Railway Express station, with direct access to downtown Fort Worth and downtown Dallas, enhances our ability to draw the best talent from across the entire [region].”
